I had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel, filled with charm and character. The stained glass windows and painted ceilings added a unique touch to my experience. The breakfast options were outstanding and varied each day. However, during my visit, I faced a few hiccups with the lift and air conditioning in my room. Overall, I would recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and proximity to Prague Castle, but be mindful of the heat if you're staying up high without A/C.

The rooms showcased beautiful stained glass windows and painted wood beam ceilings. They were well-equipped, but I noticed a lack of air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable during warmer periods.

The staff was generally friendly and responsive, going the extra mile to help whenever needed. However, one minor issue with responsiveness stood out when I experienced delays.

Though the hotel had a charming aesthetic, some parts, like the lift, felt a bit outdated and could use some modern maintenance.

My stay at this hotel was delightful, thanks to its charming historical setting and excellent breakfast. The staff was very accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. However, I found the absence of air conditioning quite uncomfortable during hot days, and the steep climb to the hotel might be a challenge for some guests. Overall, it's a beautiful option for those who appreciate character and are able to manage without AC.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming hotel, full of historical character and located near Prague Castle. The breakfast offered a fantastic variety and was a delightful start to my day. However, my room was quite warm without air conditioning during the heatwave, which made it uncomfortable at times. Additionally, navigating the steep hill to get to the hotel could be challenging after a long day of sightseeing.

Rooms

My room was comfortable, although it lacked air conditioning, making it a bit stuffy during the heat. The decor retained a lovely historical charm.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, just a short walk from Prague Castle and surrounded by charming streets. While the rooms could be quite hot during the summer, especially without air conditioning, the breakfast offers a delightful variety of options each day. The service was attentive and responsive, making for a pleasant stay overall, though the rooms could use some improvement.

Rooms

I found the rooms to be quite warm, especially considering the July heat, and a bit cramped. The lift to the room was small, making it feel even more congested, and I could hear other guests walking by, which was distracting.

The service was quite good, with staff who were eager to assist with breakfast requests. They were welcoming and happy to provide information about the city.
Location

The location of the hotel was fabulous, just minutes away from all the sightseeing spots, but still tucked away from the tourist crowds. The walk to the hotel was pleasant too.

This hotel offers a charming historical experience just a stone's throw from Prague Castle. The decor and atmosphere transport you back in time, and the rooms are quite spacious. I must mention, though, that the breakfast could use improvement in terms of variety and cost. Still, overall, it's a wonderful place to stay while exploring the city.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, with a cozy sitting area, though the heat can be stifling despite the pleasant weather outside. The ceiling height was a bit low, requiring caution when moving about.
Service
7.0
Service was attentive and pleasant, with staff being quite helpful, especially the young man at the front desk. However, the breakfast service was a bit slow at times.
Location
9.0
Located in the Castle Area, the hotel is close enough to the bustling city center while still offering a peaceful retreat away from tourist crowds. However, it's a bit of a hike back up the hill after exploring.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a decent variety, but it was a little cramped in the small dining room, making for a few delays during busier times. The quality was certainly above average for European hotels, though.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has a lovely ambiance, particularly in the lobby and breakfast areas, but there aren't many additional facilities available beyond the essentials.
